The front lawn slopes down towards the shoreline and the views over the Bay towards the highlands of Donegal are simply magnificent. This holiday home was created very much with abundant space in mind, with large main living areas, covered patio and picture windows taking in panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, Ards Forest Park and Muckish Mountain. Nearby, the Lackagh river, famed for its salmon, flows under a much photographed bridge into Sheephaven Bay. Come and see why many of our visitors return year after year. House 1 is a 4 Bedroom Bungalow to sleep 8.
House 2 is a 3 Bedroom Cottage and sleeps 6. The Cottage is totally isolated from the Bungalow, such that maximum privacy is assured in both houses. The houses are built on a 15 acre farm and visitors are free to roam as they please over the lands and enjoy close up views of the hills of Donegal. Nearby are Muckish Mountain , Errigal Mountain, LoughSalt, The Sleeping Giant, Grainne Mor, Horn Head and the hills around Glenveagh National Park, .Ards Forest Park, Doe Castle and Ards Friary are 15 minutes away by car. There are four Links Golf Courses nearby – Two at Rosapenna and also the two St. Patrick courses that Jack Nicklaus has redesigned. Pitch and Putt courses are at Rosapenna and Creeslough. The Lakes, Rivers and Sea provide scope for fishermen. Visitors can enjoy quiet danders along leafy country lanes or walks through the heather on the nearby hillside. Miles and miles of sandy beaches at Downings, Rosapenna and Marble Hill are ideal for children and adults alike. For more energetic people there's a Horse Riding Centre at Carrigart, a Karting Centre in Letterkenny and the Mevagh Dive Centre in Carrigart which caters for both beginners and seasoned divers www.mevaghdiving.com. Grocery shops in Creeslough, Downings and Carrigart provide everything necessary for the self-caterer and there's evening entertainment in the many hotels and singing pubs in the area.
